The other night I took the camera along on a walk with the family. I thought there might have been just enough light to get a few quick shots along the way. I wanted to get a little more of the fleeting fall color, because in Kansas you never know when the crazy wind or a freak snow storm will ruin all the pretty. This meant looking like a crazy person as I photographed my neighbors’ trees and then ran to catch up with the stroller.
I wouldn’t say the composition is particularly good on any of these but the otherworldly colors of the evening are worth sharing.
And here’s a shot of our jack o’lantern. Jim once again fulfilled his end of our marriage contract and gutted the stinky thing for me!
