Chives! Part 2

Here’s a look at how those chives turned out.  Who cares if you even eat them?  Herbs are worth it because they take care of themselves and look awesome.  At the time this picture was taken they were the only bright spot in a sorely neglected backyard.  But things are looking up!  We’re managing to work between the torrential rains, cold, and then heat to do some planting and jungle wrangling.

And because I was so freaking stoked to get a somewhat natural looking red on my camera…

Still experimenting with the white balance and it seems to fix the problem I have with red/magenta flowers looking neon or weird.  Granted, the fix I used did make everything super color saturated, but I like that and it’s a much truer, less garish outcome.
